Groovy Collections flatten()
This week, I am teaching a Groovy, Spock, Geb course. One student could not resist and said "F... that it is awesome" when I showed him flatten(). I smiled and concur with him.

Traits are probably my favorite Groovy's feature. Learn about trait inheritance, Conflict resolution, chaining. Favor composition over inheritance!
