Grails
Grails State of the Union
@puneetbhl premiered the Grails blog with an update about Grails roadmap:
In the last few months, the 2GM (Groovy, Grails, and Micronaut) team has put a lot of work into the upcoming Grails 4.1 release. We’re excited to share that this release will include support for Apache Groovy 3! Groovy 3 offers a number of enhancements to the language including method references and a new, more flexible parser. Additionally, Grails 4.1 will support Micronaut 2.0, Gradle 6.5, and Spring 2.3. We’ve also added improvements to the Grails profiles to support the exclusion of transitive dependencies.

I have a new website; sergiodelamo.com. I am trying to keep an updated list of my pet projects and write posts with a decent cadence. I you want to subscribe there is an RSS Feed.
I plan to move the old content back into this new website but I am struggling to do it.
Comment
Yesterday, ApacheCon Groovy track started. After Greach cancellation and GR8Conf cancellation , I see this as the comeback. Not only, for the Groovy language material but for this newsletter.
